I went to go get a bike from Johnny this past Memorial Day weekend. Johnny took the time to get to know me and help me get on the bike for my first time! I am extremely new to cycling, and he gave me all the tips and pointers on how to properly shift a gear, the best lube for the chains, what air pump to get, etc. He also told me about what safety precautions I should take when first getting into cycling. It was such a neat time talking to Johnny and getting his help. I have already recommended him to 3 of my friends 🤣

Serving Salem
Salem is a growing small town on the east side of south Utah County, between Payson to the southwest and Spanish Fork to the north. Salem Pond and the walking path around it are the center of town and a favorite spot for families out on bikes. Salem Hills High School draws students from Salem and nearby Woodland Hills, and many of them ride to practice or around town. New homes keep going up on the benches below Loafer Mountain, bringing in families with kids who are learning to ride. Roads here climb gently toward the foothills, which makes for good training rides and wears steadily on brakes and gears.

Why Salem customers need this work
Salem has a lot of young families, so kids' bikes come through often: flats, loose chains, brakes that don't grab, and training-wheel setups. Adults who ride the foothill roads toward Woodland Hills wear down brake pads and drivetrains faster because of all the climbing and descending. Johnny handles both kinds of work. When a Salem family buys a first bike for a parent or teenager, he takes time to fit it properly and explain shifting and basic maintenance before anyone rides away.
